Due to the winter storm warning for Wednesday, there will be no school for Geneseo on February 12, 2025. The make-up day will be on April 21, 2025. There will be no evening activities on Wednesday.

Congratulations to our GHS Robotics team on a great season! At Peoria this past weekend the team placed 13th out of 25 teams. The team also won the Design Award!


We had a great Unified Basketball Game vs our friends from Moline! Our Exceptional Ed students on both teams did outstanding and our students and staff did a great job cheering on both teams! Teach, Learn, Care!





GMS 8th grade physical education students have been working on their hockey skills in the warmth of the GMS gym. Could've brought some skates and gone out to the ice on the west parking lot Thursday to learn how to skate! Stay warm and safe outside everyone!!!

National School Counseling Week 2025 is being celebrated this week to focus public attention on the unique contribution of school counselors within U.S. school systems and how students are different as a result of what school counselors do. Congrats to our GHS Students of the Week. These students were nominated by staff for having a positive impact on staff and peers in the classroom!


GMS 8th grade students watched and participated in a demonstration of physical properties of compounds and the chemical reactions when alcohol vapor is ignited in their science classes. Students and teachers then discussed what they watched and heard when the vapor burned and what byproducts were left behind.
