A free community information session in partnership with Grand Canyon University (GCU) to introduce pathways into educational careers will be held on Tuesday, February 25 from 6-8 p.m. at Colona Grade School (700 1st Street, Colona, IL).
This session is specifically designed for community members who are:
Interested in becoming paraprofessionals (no degree required or Associate's degree holders)
Associate's degree holders wanting to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Education
Bachelor's degree holders in non-education fields interested in transitioning to teaching through provisional certification programs
A GCU representative will be present to discuss flexible program options, financial considerations, and answer questions about these career pathways.
