Ladders to Learning Preschool
We will be holding preschool screening dates for the 2025-26 school year on Monday, March 10, Tuesday March 11 and Wednesday March 12 at First Congregational Church (319 South State Street, Geneseo, IL 61254).
Appointment scheduling begins Wednesday, February 19. To make an appointment, please contact Angela Krause, Preschool Parent Coordinator, at (309) 945-0614.
Who: 3, 4, and 5 year old children who are not eligible for kindergarten
When: Monday through Friday
AM Session: 7:45 a.m. - 10:45 a.m.
PM Session: 12:15 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Where: Northside Elementary School
Admission
Admission to the Ladders to Learning Preschool is based upon the scores from screening results in the following areas:
Vision and Hearing
Speech and Language
Cognitive, Gross Motor and Fine Motor skills
Parent Interview Questionnaire

Students being screened must be 3 years old by Sept. 1 and not eligible for kindergarten.
