GHS Youth Baseball Camp
Geneseo High School Baseball will be hosting a youth camp January 2-3 for 1st-8th grade players. This camp is a great opportunity to learn program fundamentals and develop skills that can be built upon. The camp is $35 for both days.

FFA Alumni Trivia Night
The Geneseo FFA Alumni Trivia Night will be held on Saturday, February 22 at St. Malachy's Hall with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. and trivia starting at 6:00 p.m. Tables can be reserved for $100 (10 maximum participants per table) by contacting any of the individuals listed above.
Middle School Winter Summit (Jan. 6-Feb. 26)
Want to see improvement in first step quickness, jumping ability, strength, agility, explosive power, and conditioning? The 2025 Winter Summit for middle school boys, offered by the Hammond-Henry Rehab Department, will begin Jan. 6 and continue through Feb. 26. The cost is $104 for the full 16 sessions. Learn more.

18th annual Seth Ernst Memorial Soccer Slam
The Seth Ernst Memorial Soccer Slam is an annual, indoor soccer tournament. The tournament committee intends to grow and enhance the soccer experience – the “Love of the Game” – for players and fans at all levels. Geneseo High School Softball Camp
GHS Softball is thrilled to invite girls in 1st through 8th grades to join them for two days of softball fun and skill-building January 2 and 3, 2025 at the Geneseo Foundation Activity Center (GFAC).
This winter camp will be a great opportunity for young athletes to practice their softball skills while having an incredible time. The camp fee is $35, which includes a camp t-shirt and invaluable instruction from our very own Geneseo High School softball players, dedicated coaches, and talented current and former college players. Family Concert on Jan. 11 (Martin Luther King Jr. Center in Rock Island)
Join the Quad City Symphony Orchestra on Saturday, January 11 at 11:00 a.m. at the Martin Luther King Jr. Center in Rock Island for a 45-minute family concert for kids ages 0-7, where moving, grooving, and making noise is welcomed!
Performance will include a string trio performing South American works with narration and concert activities led by QC Music Therapy founder, Misty Dais. Before and after the concert, young audience members are invited try out Orff instruments (drums, marimba, etc.) sponsored by QC Music Therapy. First concert experiences are special, and our goal is for every family to leave feeling uplifted and full of joy! Learn more and purchase tickets.

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is dedicated to inspiring a love of reading by gifting books free of charge monthly to children from birth to age five through funding shared by Dolly Parton and local community partners.
Enroll your child by visiting the front desk at the Geneseo Public Library, located at 805 North Chicago Street. Signing up can only be done in person. Your child must be under the age of 5 and you must reside in Henry County.
Girls Middle School Fall Summit
It's that time of the year again to open up the fall summit! Fall Summit began on October 28 and will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays at 3:30 p.m. If you have any questions, please email Angelo James, Strength and Conditioning Specialist, at ajames@geneseoschools.org.
GMS Chess Club
Attention middle school students! Do you love playing chess or want to learn? Join the GMS Chess Club. Open to all 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students. Sign up is in the middle school's front office. Order your GMS Chess Club merchandise now!
