Geneseo Community Unit School District #228 on Friday launched a redesigned website and introduced a new mobile app to improve how students, parents, staff and others in the community keep up with the latest news and information throughout the district.
“There is a lot to be excited about in our district, from academics to athletics to the arts,” stated Superintendent Dr. Adam Brumbaugh. “We’re very fortunate to be part of a community that cares about what is happening in our buildings. Between our elementary schools—Millikin, Northside and Southwest—our middle school, and the high school, our new site and custom-built mobile app will allow us to better share our stories and keep everyone informed.”
On the app, students, parents and the community can view the latest announcements, read about what’s happening on a day-to-day basis with the live feed, easily locate staff contact information, review upcoming events, and find important documents.
The Geneseo CUSD #228 app is available to download now for free from Apple’s App Store or Google Play.
