The 14th Annual On the Same Page finale was a huge success this past week. OSP leaders organized escape rooms and spy puzzles just like the book for this year "City Spies." Congrats on a great event GMS OSP!











Nothing better than Fine Arts Day in Geneseo. GMS students and staff visited our Elementary Schools today in order to share their passion for music and the arts with our youngest students.

Pi Day at GMS was full of session activities like stations area solving, 3.14 bracelet creation Pi T-shirt design, and even eating some pie!

GMS and Mr. Verner took the Polar Plunge this morning in support of our local Special Olympics Team. Ms Wancket and the Builders Club raised over $500 for equipment and resources for Geneseo Schools Special Olympics.



GMS sent off our state qualifying wrestlers with a Champions Walk Thursday afternoon. Both boys and girls will be wrestling at IESA state today and Saturday, go get 'em LEAFS!





Congratulations to Mrs. Bumann & Mrs. Frerichs who were the dynamic duo serving the MOST meals at breakfast this week as guest servers for National School Breakfast Week!!! Mrs. Dickey & Officer Berthoud were the runners-up and Mr. O'Dell & Mr. Johnson tied for third (LAST) place.

7th grade ELA students demonstrated phenomenal writing and literacy skills at stations today while peer editing a predicted "next chapter" in their novels, Fever, and Esperanza Rising.

Middle School Wrestlers hit IESA Regionals head on in Rock Island today, taking a number of 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishes, sending 9 to Sectionals next week. #BeLeaf!!!

Health classes at GMS study substance abuse, highlighting the negative effects of drugs, tobacco and alcohol on the human body. Groups of 2-3 researched and developed posters detailing their findings, take a look. The next unit will be on natural highs like reading and running.
