Chess club is upon us once again GMS!! All are welcome! If you enjoy playing chess or have never played before, come to learn about pawns, bishops, and those tricky knights. If you’re interested, there will be an informational meeting after school in the library on Wednesday November 9th. If you are unable to attend please contact Mr. Verner in room 606.
Congratulations to the following 8th grade House 1 September S.T.R.I.P.E.S award winners for the month of November: Trenton Kennedy, Taylor Boone, Kendal Wassenhove. These students display qualities of service, tenacity, respect, involvement, perseverance, enthusiasm, and spirit. Hey Hoops fans. Thanks to everyone who came to the game Monday night vs. Edison Eagles. The 7th graders struggled to take flight but finished with a strong, fourth quarter effort. Our 8th graders played in a very exciting, down-to-the wire game. Our 8's were down big but soared back outsourcing Edison 30-19 in the 2nd half but fell by 2. Tonight, our B team will be in action vs. Kewanee and again on Thursday vs. Eagle Ridge. Tonight’s game starts at 4:00 and Thursdays will begin at 4:30. See you there.
