Attention NFL Pick Em: Dang, another crazy week in the NFL. There were 16 games played last week and 9 of those 16 saw the underdog win the game. It definitely threw the pick’em scores off for most of us besides Preston Wood. Congrats to Preston on being the Week 3 Champion by scoring 89 points! In the season standings, we still have the team of Landon French, Gibson Minard, Wyatt Mickley, and Henry Pratt out in the lead. Reminder, week 4 pics are due by the end of the day today. Good luck!
The 8th grade Whites football team traveled to Glenview yesterday. The team was very disciplined and composed all night long and played a tough opponent very close. They team fought back from a 14-0 halftime deficit to having a chance to take the lead late in the third quarter. Glenview eventually took advantage of some late turnovers to hand the Whites a 30-8 defeat.
The Green 8th grade football beat Galesburg 22 to 0. The Greens set the tone early in the game and played a full four quarters. There were many players with major contributions. Great job guys!
