The Contig Championship has officially come to an end, and what a thrilling battle it was! Alfred Wegener and His Theory on Continental Drift Hypothesis came ready for battle, decked out in bright yellow t-shirts proudly displaying their team name and "Contig" across the front. They not only brought the strategy but also the style! Did this intimidate their competition? Maybe. But one thing’s for sure—it set the stage for an unforgettable showdown! In a match that kept everyone on the edge of their seats, 4 Crying Out Loud and Alfred Wegener and His Theory on Continental Drift Hypothesis went head-to-head in a game so close it could have been written in the history books. At the end of eight rounds, the teams were deadlocked in a tie, refusing to give an inch. At one point, 4 Crying Out Loud had to endure an entire round without scoring a single point, but they kept their composure and didn’t let it shake their confidence. Then came overtime—and the pressure was on. Alfred Wegener and His Theory on Continental Drift Hypothesis took their shot, but the roll of the dice only allowed them to gain 2 points, inching them ahead. The tension was unbelievable as 4 Crying Out Loud took their final roll. With everything on the line, they skillfully manipulated the dice to form the number "1", earning just enough to score 3 points and clinch the victory—23 to 22! What. A. Game.  A huge congratulations to 4 Crying Out Loud, our Contig Champions! They’ve earned the glory—and, of course, their favorite Casey's candy or snack!  But don’t worry if you missed out—another tournament is on the way! Whether you’re a returning competitor or a first-time player, here’s your chance to test your math skills and strategy. Teams are due by Monday—just drop your team name in the bin outside Mr. Monier’s classroom to enter. Who will be the next Contig Champion? Get your teams together, sharpen your skills, and get ready for another epic tournament!
