Don’t forget to donate money to see your favorite teacher take the ICE COLD plunge! The teacher with the MOST money by the end of the fundraiser will get drenched in freezing water—right in front of the whole school! Our brave contestants are: Mrs. Britt, Mr. Monier, Mr. Puls, Mrs. Miller, Mr. Matthew, Mrs. Gillespie, Mrs. Atwell, Mrs. Strehlo, Mr. Johnson, and Mr. O’Dell. Jars for each teacher will be set up in the cafeteria during lunch, so bring in your donations and cast your vote with your cash! The teacher with the most money by Friday 3/14 will take the icy bath! All donations go to Special Olympics.
Students interested in joining Geneseo Youth Baseball and Softball may pick up registration information at the middle school office window.
Contig Club started with the Elite 8, but after some serious number crunching, only four teams remain in the running for Contig glory. Here’s how the Final Four shaped up:
Certified Big Bucks cashed in on their skills and sent IDK back to the drawing board.
Alfred Wegener and His Theory On Continental Drift Hypothesis out built The Bricks, proving that numbers are stronger than mortar.
4 Crying Out Loud made their opponents weep, toppling The Treeo with mathematical precision.
And in the most intense battle yet, The Aryan Minions needed not one, not two, but three overtime rounds to finally solve the puzzle against Mr. Mo’s Mathematicians!
We’re down to four teams—four like the quadrants of a coordinate plane, the sides of a square, or the number of times you second-guess yourself in a tough Contig move. The championship is just around the corner, so sharpen your mental math and get ready for more high-stakes numerical action! Good luck to our Final Four, and may the best mathematicians win! Stay sharp, stay strategic, and keep Contig-ing!
