Attention 6th Graders: March is right around the corner! That means March Madness! And no, we are not talking about the NCAA tournament. We are talking about Contig Club! Next Wednesday, we will begin our first tournament in Mrs. Wagner's room at 7:40. If you wish to be in the tournament, on a loose-leaf paper, write your TEAM name at the top and the first and last name of each member of that team. You can have a team of one, two, three, or four people. Names are due by the end of the day Friday. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Monier.
The 8th grade Scholastic Bowl Team rocketed past Rockridge last night with a final score of 225-55. The 7th grade Scholastic Bowl Team also landed an impressive win with a final score of 190-40. Outstanding job to both teams...mission complete!
Attention Hoops Fans: It was another 'double dub' night for our As at home versus John Deere with both 7A and 8A winning. Both of these talented groups are hoping to close out the year strong at home on Thursday with some BIG milestones. 8A has the chance to be the first EVER middle team to be BACK-TO-BACK conference champions in both 7th and 8th grade. The 7th grade group has the chance to be the first EVER middle school team to finish an entire season UNDEFEATED. TOGETHER, they have the chance to be first EVER 7th AND 8th grade combination to BOTH win conference championships. Those are a lot of big milestones that they would love to have your support for. We hope to see you there Thursday to cheer on your Leafs as they chase some impressive accomplishments. Go Leafs!
