Attention Hoops Fans: We had a loaded night of basketball. Our 8Bs traveled to take on the East Moline Christian Eagles who had a stud of a player who was flying high. Our 8Bs were grounded a bit in the first half but played a much better second half before falling prey to the Eagles. Our As headed to Rock Island to face the Jordan Jaguars. We had to switch it up with 8s playing first. Our 8As had their first conference setback falling to the Jaguars in a tough, gritty game but they are looking onward and upward as their goal of conference championship is still within reach. In the nightcap, our 7As continued to stay hot with a big victory as they continue their quest to a conference championship. Next up, on Thursday the As head to Wilson and our Bs will have their last HOME game of the year. Come on out support the Leafs Thursday! Good luck, Leafs!
It’s not too late to sign up for the swim team! Boys and girls, 6th-8th grade experienced or novice are all welcomed. Practices start on Monday from 3:45-5:00 at the community center. Practices will run Monday-Thursday. We have meets planned with Morrison, Moline and Rock Island.
