Attention all 7th and 8th grade students! Track and Field season is starting soon! If you are interested in joining the track and field teams, check your email. Coach Ehlert has sent out a letter with a Google Form sign up link. Your parents have been emailed this information as well. Fill out the Google Form to be signed up for the team and to start receiving information on the season. Practices will begin Monday, March 3rd. If you have any questions, you can ask any of the coaches: Mr. Ehlert, Mrs. Gillespie, Mr. Monier, Mrs. Wagner, Mr. Mathew, Mrs. Henderson or Mr. Babcock.
The 8th grade Scholastic Bowl team defeated Alwood last night 275-155. What an amazing job of buzzing in quickly to answer some really tough questions! The 6th & 7th grade team lost 250-130, but the score was close until the end, when Alwood pulled away for the win. Impressive work from both teams!
Attention Hoops Fans: Our Lady Leafs hit the road to take on the Dixon Dutchesses, but it was our Leafs who were the queens of the court! 7A moved to a 10-0 record with a 27 point victory and our 8A won in a convincing fashion as well with a 30+ victory. Here at home, our 7Bs took on the Hampton Hawks. Our 7Bs were scorching the nets on a way to a 27-10 victory. Our 8Bs ran into a Hawks team that was flying high. The Leafs regrouped at half and played a much better 2nd half in their defeat. Next up, A's travel to Washington on Monday. Good luck, Leafs!
