Attention Hoops Fans: Hunters hunt, and if successful, that is their next meal. After hunting the Jaguars Wednesday night, our Leafs hunted the Wildcats last night. In 7A action the Wildcats were raining 3s early and often. In 8th grade, our banged up and sick Leafs couldn't succeed versus the dunking 8th grade Wildcats (yes, the Wildcats were feeling froggy and attempted two dunks during the game). Although the Leafs hunt was unsuccessful, they did get a meal under the golden arches. If you know...you know. Next up, the 7As and 7Bs have their Saturday shootout tomorrow at the GFAC. Our 7s will be playing between 9:00 and 4:00. Come on out and cheer our 7s. Hope to see you there. Go Leafs.

Last night Geneseo Middle School Ag Club participated in the first middle school Career Development Contest.  They represented our school well!  Hailey Olson placed 2nd in the Ag Mechanics Division!  Each contestant had to weld, saw a board and complete a written exam on all mechanics subjects!  She was the only 7th grader and only girl competing in that division.  Quite an accomplishment!!!!  Good Job Hailey.  In the Animal Science/Veterinary Science Division, Faith Kuster was the high individual of the competition.   Faith had to take a written exam on all animal subjects, complete an identification of instruments and do a hands-on practicum.  Nice job.  Another contest will be held this spring…  Anyone interested in animals, veterinary science, plants, mechanics…please join us on Friday mornings in room 801!  We’d love to have enough individuals to field a full team!!!!   (…plus we have a lot of fun!)
