The GMS boy’s basketball teams played their season-opener at home last night as both the 7th & 8th grade B squads hosted Quad Cities Christian.  The visiting team was not kind to the host Leafs as both squads dropped their first game.  However, they each have another opportunity today as they will travel along Wolf Road to take on Colona — good luck tonight fellas!

Reminder from Mr. Johnson: cell phones are not allowed at breakfast. They need to be put away when you are in the building. This includes when you are standing in the breakfast line.

Congrats to the 7th Grade October Student of the Month recipients. From House 7-1 Myleigh Thinglum and Kellan Knackstedt. From House 7-2 Macie Rotz and Hayley Newburg.  Your teachers appreciate the positive attitude, kindness, and respect you have shown at school. Keep it up!
