Students interested in learning more about Chess Club should plan to attend an informational meeting after school on Wednesday from 3:15 to 4:00 pm in the library.
It was a hot and sunny day in Normal on Saturday, but the Leafs cross country team kept their cool as they competed at the IESA State meet. Charlize Wachtel ran a great race, finishing in 37th place overall and beating her seed by 13 places! The boys team battled to a 19th place finish as a team, which is GMS's best finish in several years as a team. Kyle Wirth was the top finisher for the boys in 70th place. Congrats to all our runners that ran at the State Meet, and to the entire team on a fantastic season! See you at the pizza party on Wednesday!
