The 7th grade Whites volleyball team finished their last home game strong against Sterling last night! After three close sets and some great plays and hard work from all players, they came out with a win! Top servers were Katelynn Becerra and Kami Nordstrom, both with 4 aces, and Lilly Fritz with 6 aces! Alivia Gaines and Peyton Wexell led the team in attacks with 4 kills each! Great job girls!
Last night the 8th grade Whites volleyball team fought hard against Sterling, but were unable to come out with the win. Even though the outcome was not what we wanted, the girls played great as a team. Top servers for the night were Kinley Smith and Emma Minnaert, while Brynn Kinney and Brenna Dykstra led the team with attacks.
Thanks for the view Glenview, but the 7th grade Greens volleyball team will try and forget we saw you Despite a tough night, we had some awesome ACES for serves from Norah Kuddes with 8, Jocelyn Matthews with 4, Bayleigh Painter with 2, and Jaela Minnaert with 1. We had some HUGE kills, and jumping high was Jaela Minnaert with 8 and Norah Kuddes with 4, Aislyn Kane and Bayleigh Painter each with 1! We got the loss out of our system on the road so come watch us WIN at home on Thursday at 4 against John Deere!
The 8th grade Greens volleyball team fought hard against Glenview, but just fell short in the third match, 26-28, 25-20, and 12 to 15. Emma Hofer had 17 assists, 9 aces, and Charley Courson had 10 attacks.
Attention 7th and 8th Grade Boys interested in GMS basketball: There is a list posted in the boys locker room showing who signed up. If you would like added or removed from this list, please email or see Mr. Monier. Also, it shows whether you need a physical turned in to the office or not.
