On Friday, September 20, the GMS library will be hosting a Teen Read Cafe in the library before school. Because space is limited, you must pick up a reserve ticket in the library ahead of time to be part of our Freedom to Read celebration. See Mrs. Brucher or Mrs. Sager for more details.
HOP HOP HOP on down to the hall between 8th grade and the library in the coming weeks to see the fantastically decorated frogs hopping into GMS! We’ve got some exciting news from our Softball team! On Saturday, our players and coaches traveled to East Peoria to take on the IVC Ghosts from Mossville. It was a fantastic game—Brenna Dykstra pitched brilliantly, allowing only 3 hits and 1 run in seven innings. Karoline Hasson and Charley Courson both collected two hits, and Alivia Gaines knocked in two RBIs. The final score was 9-1, with GMS coming out on top! Next up, we’re gearing up for the Regional Championship against Dunlap Middle School on Tuesday, and it will be held back in East Peoria. Let’s cheer on our team as they aim for victory!
The Geneseo Library Writing Club is meeting this Tuesday at the Geneseo Public Library from 3:30-4:30. Fourth-grade students and up are welcome!
