The GMS On the Same Page Reading Team is looking to recruit more readers to help select this year's community-wide read book. Any 6th, 7th, or 8th graders are welcome to attend. Come to our first meeting at 7:40 a.m. in the library before school on Wednesday, August 28 to learn more.
On Saturday GMS Softball hosted Channahon in game one GMS defeated them 14-2. Payton VanZuiden went 4 for 4 with three doubles and a single. Once again we had stellar pitching in the circle from Emma Schroeder and Brenna Dykstra. Game two GMS won 7-1 in Sophia Gluck went 2 for 2 with a double and pitched two innings striking out four batters. Way to go ladies!
