Any current 7th grade student interested in learning more about a trip to Washington DC next year may pick up a flier at the office window.

GMS Yearbook Staff members are invited to our end-of-year Party on Tuesday, May 14th after school until 4:30pm. Please inform an advisor if you cannot attend.

The latest 6th Grade National League All Stars are Sophia Gluck, Allison Bos, Gemma Williams, Peyton Wexell, Zachary Blank, Conrad Knudtson, Noah Tully, Korah Klotz, Hayley Newburg, and Kynlee Adam. Your teachers and peers thank you for your positive attitude, responsibility, and hard work. Keep it up!

Attention all 6th and 7th grade boys and girls!  Do you love to run?  Did you get a great time in the mile in PE last week?  We’re looking for people to join the GMS Cross Country team!  If you are interested in running with the Cross Country team at the beginning of the next school year, please check your school email and fill out the Google Form that was emailed to you.  If you have any questions about Cross Country or are having trouble accessing the form, please contact Mrs. Gillespie in room 802 or Mrs. Henderson in room 605.

Congratulations to the GMS track and field team on an incredible performance on a windy day at the IESA Sectional meet on Saturday.  The 7th grade girls, 8th grade girls, 7th grade boys and 8th grade boys are all sectional team CHAMPIONS!!  We had amazing performances by all of our athletes.  Congratulations to Allison Tice for breaking the 7th grade girls pole vault record.  Earlier this year, she tied the record.  Saturday she broke it with a vault of 7 feet 9 inches.  Great Job Allison!!!!!  We have 33 athletes that qualified for state, and many more that were hundreths of a second or mere centimeters away from qualifying as well.
