The latest 6th Grade National League All Stars are Sophia Gluck, Allison Bos, Gemma Williams, Peyton Wexell, Zachary Blank, Conrad Knudtson, Noah Tully, Korah Klotz, Hayley Newburg, and Kynlee Adam. Attention all 6th and 7th grade boys and girls!  Do you love to run?  Did you get a great time in the mile in PE last week?  We’re looking for people to join the GMS Cross Country team!  If you are interested in running with the Cross Country team at the beginning of the next school year, please check your school email and fill out the Google Form that was emailed to you today (Monday, May 13th).  If you have any questions about Cross Country or are having trouble accessing the form, please contact Mrs. Gillespie in room 802 or Mrs. Henderson in room 605.

The Geneseo Rotary Club sponsored a U.S. Constitution Essay Contest that was made available to all GMS 8th grade students.  8th Graders who participated were asked to write a 250-400 word paper, prompted by the following question: “What does the U.S. Constitution Mean to Me and My Family?”  Top prize receives a $300 award. 2nd place gets $200 and 3rd place gets $100.  After evaluating the essays, the Rotary Club has chosen Taeton Chirchir, Collin Roemer and Fritz Bolme as their winners.  These three will learn their places at a Rotary Club luncheon on Tuesday, May 14th.  Congratulations Taeton, Collin and Fritz.
