This is a reminder to 7th grade Student Council reps. If you want to run for next year's Student Council leadership, you need to give your application to Mrs. Brucher or Mrs. Strohm by Friday morning. If you missed the meeting, see Mrs. Brucher or Mrs. Strohm to get the application.
Attention 6th & 7th graders planning to participate in sports next year: Free athletic physicals are available this Thursday at Hammond Henry Hospital at 5:30 pm. You must bring a completed physical form with a parent signature. Information flyers are available at the GMS office window.
The GMS track and field team burned up the track on a sunny and warm day yesterday at the Heartland Conference Track meet. The 8th grade boys took 3rd place in the conference, losing out to Glenview and Wilson by only 13 points. The 7th grade boys, 7th grade girls and 8th grade girls teams are all conference champions! We also had one school record broken. Jackson Frank broke the 8th grade boys shot put record with a throw of 50 feet 7 inches. Congrats to all our athletes! The team next competes at the Dixon Invite on Saturday
