Attention Hoops Fans: Our Lady Leafs traveled to Rock Island last night to take on the Edison Eagles. In the 7's contest, it was our Leafs that swooped in and took control of the game from the beginning with a new starting lineup. Our Leafs stayed full speed ahead and cruised to an easy 31-2 victory. In the 8's contest, we got off to a slow start but fought back making it a game but we were never quite able to take flight and the home Eagles held on for the win. Our A's final HOME games will be Monday and Tuesday next week. Hope to see you there!
Last night the B team hosted Quad City Christian for the very first time! The 7th grade team demonstrated incredible growth and cohesiveness as a team to come away with a big win! The 8th grade team battled with the Eagles for the entire game, showing a lot of aggressive defense and eager offense. The team came up just short of the win. The teams have their final game next Thursday at home!
