WQAD is sponsoring their annual “My Favorite Teacher” Award. If you have a favorite teacher that you would like to nominate, stop at the office window for an information packet. The deadline to submit an entry is January 31.
Attention Hoops Fans: Our Lady Leafs tipped off their season on Thursday night. The A's were in action here at home versus the Wilson Wildcats. 7A's showed their toughness and won a close game by five, 38-33. 8A's followed that up with a great defensive performance winning by nine, 18-9. The B teams traveled to the War on Wolf Road rivalry game against Colona. Both teams met and surpassed goals we made for ourselves. Even though neither team came away with a win, it was a great night for both teams, demonstrating how to play aggressive, try new things, and always support our teammates. The B's have a home game tonight and the A's will be on the road to John Deere. Good luck Leafs!

Any 8th grade girl interested in playing freshmen volleyball next fall should plan to attend a meeting tomorrow before school, at 7:45am in Mr. Pardoe's room.
