The 7th Grade Greens Volleyball team lost to the Washington Warriors last evening. Washingotn took the first 2 matches and the Leafs came back and won the third match. Top servers were Emma Hofer , Mia O'Dell and Sophia Urquiza.
The 7th grade Whites volleyball team played hard and defeated Rock Falls last night! Top servers were Jocelyn Russelburg, Emma Minnaert, and Peyton Brodie.

After a great week of practice, the 8th Grade football team traveled to Washington last night and played their best game of the year. Big plays were made on offense, defense, and special teams. The final score was 34 to 6.
Attention NFL Pick Em: Week 2 is in the books, graded, scored, and posted. At the top of the weekly standings are Tommy Gaskey, Bennett Holke, Noah Tully, and Easton Veloz. They scored 116 points to win Week 2. In the overall standings, Lillian Fritz is off to the nice start with 203 points. Way to go Lillian. Reminder, we grade sheets on Wednesday mornings and Pick Em Sheets are due Thursday by the end of the day. Good luck in Week 3.
Who wants to play Pickleball? The Geneseo Park District is sponsoring a youth pickleball jamboree on Wednesday, which is a half-day of school, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at Richmond Hill. Cost is $5.00. Beginners are welcome and paddles will be available to use.
