Attention NFL Pick Em: What a crazy week 1 of NFL football. There was definitely a couple of maddening upsets! Last night the Leafs XC team competed in a fun, non-traditional race in Sterling. Runners ran their full 2 mile race, but also had to jump over several hay bales throughout the course! It was a beautiful afternoon to run and more than half of the runners set a new personal best! Medaling for the Leafs were Charlize Wachtel (6th), Micah Nicke (5th), & Kael McCord (11th). The girls team finished 2nd overall and the boys team finished 4th - congrats to all runners!
The 8th Grade football team defeated the Jr. Pioneers last night. We took the lead early and never gave it back. There were tons of guys with big plays and major contributions.
The 7th grade greens traveled to Morrison last evening and came away with a loss, losing in 3 sets. Despite the loss, the greens had a couple of great rallies that took place. Top server of the game was Brynn Kinney.
The 8th grade greens volleyball team beat Morrison last night in just 2 games! Mollie Parr and Addie Snell each had 5 aces and Annibelle Juarez had 4. Keep the ball rolling for the home game against Riverdale Monday night!
The 7th grade Volleyball whites team played hard last night against Colona, and unfortunately came away with a loss. The team won the first set and lost the second.
The 8th grade Whites volleyball team beat Colona in 2! Top servers were Penny Kline and Aleksie Possin!!
