Attention 8th grade girls interested in high school cheerleading: There will be an informational student/parent meeting for cheer tryouts on May 2nd at 6:00 pm in the High School commons. All tryout information and paperwork will be handed out then.
Attention Builders Club: Key Club members from the high school will be speaking at this week's meeting. They will begin speaking at 7:40 in the Large Group Room.
Attention all 6th and 7th graders! Golf sign-ups are still open, you have until Friday! If you’re interested please contact Mr. Verner by email or stop by room 606.
Attention all 6th and 7th grade boys and girls! If you are interested in running with the GMS Cross Country team in the fall, please check your school email and fill out the Google Form that was emailed to you on Wednesday, April 26th. If you have any questions or are having trouble accessing the form, please contact Mrs. Gillespie in room 802 or Mrs. Henderson in room 605.
Attention all 8th Grade Groovy Bandha Members! Mrs. Plant wants to remind you that this week's Groovy Bandha meeting was moved to Friday, which is tomorrow! She hopes to see you there!
Attention 7th and 8th graders Here are some things you need to know regarding the dance this Friday:
Entry begins at 7:00 pm. Students must arrive by 7:30 pm to be admitted.
Only full time GMS students are allowed - no friends
Cost is $5.00 and exact change is appreciated
All fees and fines must be paid in order to attend
All discipline time must be served
Concessions will be sold, but candy and pop must stay in the hallway
Student are not permitted to go to their locker - bags will be stored in the teacher’s lounge
Most importantly, GMS dress code applies No semi-formal attire and no hats.
