The Geneseo Dementia Task Force is hosting its 2nd Annual Mindful Strides 5K and 2 Mile Run/Walk on Saturday, April 5. The event also offer a Kids Stride for those who register. Earlier this month, students had the opportunity to rehearse and perform hula hoops and jump rope shows for their classmates in PE. There were even surprise judges and a spotlight! There was so much creativity floating around! Great job!

National School Counseling Week 2025 is being celebrated this week to focus public attention on the unique contribution of school counselors within U.S. school systems and how students are different as a result of what school counselors do. GHS students are once again raising funds and awareness through Dance Marathon for Stead Family Children's Hospital in Iowa City. By dining-in at Geneseo's Culver's on Tuesday, February 4 from 5-8 p.m., you can help, as 10% of sales will go towards the GHS Dance Marathon!
Our 3-5 grade students had a great time learning from Dr. Brooks Gibbs on Monday afternoon. Dr. Gibbs preaches how to be emotionally resilient, even when confronted by others who are unkind. A big thank you to David Harris and the Henry County Mental Health Alliance for helping to support this opportunity!
