Student Parking:
Sophomore, Junior, & Senior students with a current drivers license may place their name on the waiting list for student parking today at the end of your school day. Please note, without purchasing a student sticker you may not park in the school parking lots or on State Street in front of school property.
Tabletop Games Club:
There will be Tabletop Games Club on Wednesday after school in Mrs. Davidson’s room, room 10.
Aviation Club Meeting:
For any students interested in the aviation field, there will be an Aviation Club meeting Thursday after school at 3:15. We will meet in the Library Lobby.
Psychology Club Meeting:
There will be a Psychology Club meeting today at 2:15 in Mrs. Anton's room.
No ELA Lab Today:
ELA Lab has been cancelled for today (Tuesday).

Addison Pischke & Caidence Kies qualified in the All Around competition for the Sectional meet at Hinsdale South. Alexa Jolly qualified for vault & Addison Pischke qualified for balance beam in the individual events.

Course Requesting Closes Tomorrow:
This is a reminder that Course Requesting in Skyward will be closing tomorrow (Wednesday, February 8th) at 3:00 p.m. Please make sure you have entered a complete schedule for the 23-24 school year, and filled out any necessary forms. For questions or concerns, please visit the Counseling Office.
Boys Tennis Sign-Up:
Boys Tennis players, if you are going out for boys tennis in the Spring, please sign up with Mr. Plant in room 7, or at open gym tennis on Monday the 6th or on Monday the 13th at 7:00pm in the facility.
Seth Ernst Soccer Slam Registration:
Registration for the 16th annual Seth Ernst Memorial Soccer Slam closes Wednesday, February 8th at midnight, so get those teams registered today for Men's Play on Saturday, Feb. 25th and Women on Sunday, Feb. 26th! Writer’s Club Meeting:
The Writer’s Club is back for our first meeting of the second semester. If you enjoy writing outside of class time for any reason and you would like a place to share that work, please meet with us after school on Wednesday, February 8th in Room 4 from 3:10- 4:00 p.m. We are always open to seeing new faces!
Winter Dance:
Hey GHS, are you looking for something to beat those winter blues? The Student Council is hosting a Winter Dance on Friday, February 24 from 7-10 pm in the big gym. This dance is for Geneseo High School students only, no guests. All tickets will be purchased at the door and will cost $5. Come out of the cold and get your dance on!! All discipline must be served in order to attend.
CRUSH Cans:
Do you have a secret CRUSH? Send someone a can of CRUSH pop anonymously for Valentine’s Day. Buy a can of CRUSH pop from any Student Council member for $1, and your secret crush can return the can to find out who sent it for 50 cents. Don’t miss out on the Valentine’s Day fun.
Singing Telegrams:
Send a Singing Telegram to that special someone or send one to a friend. Student Council members are now selling Singing Telegrams for $5. The song and a flower will be delivered on Tuesday, February 14. Don’t miss out on this special Valentine’s tradition.
Environmental Club Meeting:
The Environmental Club will resume meetings starting on Tuesday, February 7th after school at 3:15 in Room 39. We will hold meetings every Tuesday after school to discuss sustainable action projects and bring awareness to global issues. If you want to make friends, get involved, and help create a cleaner future, then this is the club for you! Remember, there is no "Plan(et) B", so let's go take care of the one we've got!
Thespians Meeting:
There is a very important meeting for all Thespians on Tuesday, February 7 from 3:15 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. in the Theatre.
Circle of Friends:
Circle of Friends is back! Join us in the Library Commons during WIN every Friday starting Friday, February 10th and get to know students in our Life Skills and Cross Cat classes as we cultivate friendships through playing games. Come straight from 3rd period and sign in with Mrs. Norberg, School Social Worker, for attendance. Students who participate can earn Silver Cord hours. See Mrs. Harrington in the front office for the Silver Cord timesheet or print one from the GHS website.
Artwork Contest:
The 2023 Prom Committee is looking for the perfect Masquerade image to use for our prom theme this year. Therefore, we’re hosting an all-school artwork contest. The competition is open to all artists and digital designers at GHS – freshmen through seniors. The designs should represent this year’s prom theme: Masquerade. Entries should be submitted in person or electronically to Mrs. Ganson by February 17th. The winning artwork will be printed on GHS prom invitations, tickets, photo booth strips & marketing promos. The artist will win a $50 gift card! Additional details are being sent to all students via gmail. Let the artwork begin!
