Scheduling Presentations:
The Counseling Department will be having scheduling presentations for each class next week. Students should report directly to the Theatre the day of their class's presentation. The Class of 2028 will meet on Monday, January 13th. The Class of 2026 will meet Tuesday, January 14th. The Class of 2027 will meet Wednesday, January 15.
Mr. Ehlert’s Wellness Classes:
Mr. Ehlert’s Wellness classes need to meet in the main gym today. You will be playing volley tennis. Make sure you dress.
January Study Hall Release for Juniors and Seniors:
Study Hall release will start on Monday, January 13th. Students will receive ineligibility notices. In order to be eligible for Junior and Senior Study Hall release you must clear the following obligations:
- Grades of C- or higher in all classes
- No 1st Semester 2024 failed classes
- No unpaid library fines
- No unserved discipline
- Students who have 6th period Study Hall and a 7th period class are not eligible for Study Hall release.
Silver Cord Opportunity – Northside Math Night:
Northside is hosting a Family Math Night on February 25th and is looking for student volunteers. If you would like to volunteer, information is posted on the GHS Announcements bulletin board in the main hall.
Hallway Lockers:
All hallway lockers should have their school issued padlock locked at all times. If you have lost your hallway padlock a new lock can be purchased in the Athletic Office for $10.
Silver Cord Volunteer Opportunities:
There is a list of upcoming volunteer opportunities at the Park District posted on the GHS Announcements bulletin board in the main hall. Hours, position details, and contact information is included.
