Four members of the Geneseo FFA Chapter were awarded Maple Leaf Medallions after presenting at the Board of Education’s meeting on December 12.
President Joseph Venneberg, Vice President of Growing Leaders Austin Pearce, Vice President of Building Communities Dawsyn McDonald, and Treasurer Ayden Kane were recognized and joined by Jacqueline Wetzell, the high school’s agriculture teacher and FFA advisor.
The group’s presentation included an overview of agriculture education and the annual report released in May, as well as the experiential learning that takes place, such as attending career development events and working in the FFA plot, greenhouse, and ag lab.
