Please report to the Theatre for WIN on Tuesday, November 19th for Freshman Academy.
December Study Hall Release for Juniors and Seniors:
December Study Hall release will start on Monday, December 2nd. Students will receive ineligibility notices on Thursday, November 21st and Friday, November 22nd. In order to be eligible for Junior and Senior Study Hall release you must clear the following obligations:
- Grades of D+ or higher in all classes
- No 2nd Semester 2024 failed classes
- No unpaid library fines
- No unserved discipline
- Students who have 6th period Study Hall and a 7th period class are not eligible for Study Hall release.
Foreign Language Club:
Attention all Foreign Language Club members: Our next meeting is Thursday, November 21st at 3:00 PM in room 3. We will be having our Thanksgiving potluck! If you haven't already, be sure to sign up with Mrs. Lindberg for the food item you'd like to bring. If you already signed up, be sure to bring your food item with you on Thursday! See you then!
Thespian Meeting:
There will be a meeting for all current Thespians on Wednesday, November 20th at 11:45 AM in the DePauw Theatre. It should not last any longer than one hour. The meeting is for all current Thespians, as well as anyone wishing to join Thespians. To join, you must be involved in one, or more, of the following activities; Fall Play, Madrigal, Individual Events Speech, and/or the Spring Musical. Even if you had previously indicated that you did not wish to join, but have changed your mind, or just want to learn more information, you are welcome to attend.
Gray Matters:
This Friday we will be having a Gray Matters meeting during WIN in the Theatre. Everyone is welcome!
Girls Basketball Managers Needed:
The girls varsity basketball team is in desperate need of 1 and hopefully 2 managers for this basketball season. Please consider finding a friend and volunteering as a manager for the varsity team. Silver Cord hours can be achieved through this activity. Please see Coach Hardison in room 29 to sign up or to answer any questions.
La’James College Visit:
On Tuesday, November 19th, La’ James International College will be visiting Geneseo High School during WIN. If you are interested in meeting with La’ James International College, please visit the Counseling Office for more details and to sign up. You must sign up before to obtain a pass, and confirm the visit will be taking place.
Silver Cord Opportunity – First Methodist Church:
It is that time of year for the Victorian Walk and Christmas meal at First Methodist Church. They are looking for volunteers to serve food, be monitors, kitchen help, etc. If you could spare a couple of hours that evening it lasts from 4:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. Even if it's just 1 or 2 hours, any help is appreciated.
