Coffee Corner:

Congratulations to Camryn Ebert on winning the free drink raffle. Coffee Corner will be open on Friday at 7:30, stop by and check out our new non-caffeinated options along with our usual drinks.  All drinks are $3.00. 

 

La’James College Visit:

On Tuesday, November 19thLa’ James International College will be visiting Geneseo High School during WIN. If you are interested in meeting with La’ James International College, please visit the Counseling Office for more details and to sign up. You must sign up before to obtain a pass, and confirm the visit will be taking place. 

 

Public Library Group:

Join the Teen Advisory Group (T.A.G.) at the Geneseo Public Library today from 3:30-4:30 p.m.  Anyone in grades 6th thru 12th is welcomed to join. This group will help Miss Sandy out by giving advice and feedback about library programs, materials, and services. Come enjoy snacks and meet other friends that enjoy reading!

 

Boys Volleyball Game – Toy Drive:

Come out tonight to support Foster Hope. The Student Council is hosting the Annual Boys Volleyball Game - Toy Drive. Teams of Juniors vs. Seniors will compete in a Boys Volleyball game. Bring a new toy for admission or a cash donation. There will be a drawing for prizes in between sets. This is a fun night you won’t want to miss. 

 

Boys Volleyball Reminder:

Attention Junior and Senior Boys Volleyball Team Members: remember to bring in your signed insurance waiver to Mrs. Brewer or Mrs. Laingen or you will not be allowed to play in the game tonight.

 

Lunch Expectations:

In order to maintain a safe and orderly lunch process, all students should walk to lunch.  We know that everyone looks forward to the delicious lunch that our lunch staff has prepared for us.  The cafeteria has prepared plenty of food for everyone, so there is no need to rush. 

 

Silver Cord Opportunity – First Methodist Church:

It is that time of year for the Victorian Walk and Christmas meal at First Methodist Church.  They are looking for volunteers to serve food, be monitors, kitchen help, etc.  If you could spare a couple of hours that evening it lasts from 4:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m.  Even if it's just 1 or 2 hours, any help is appreciated.  The deadline to sign up to help is November 18th.  If you are interested in volunteering, contact Nancy DeFauw at 309-507-0997 or email her at defauwfarm5@gmail.com

 

Silver Cord Opportunity – Park District:

If you are interested in volunteering at the Park District, there are volunteer opportunities and contact information listed on the announcements bulletin board in the main hall.  Silver Cord timesheets can be found on the GHS website or in the Front Office.
