FFA Ag Sales Team:
Congratulations to the Geneseo FFA Ag Sales team for placing 1st at the section contest!! Wish them good luck as they prepare to compete next week at the district contest. Team members include: Joseph Venneberg, James Matthews, Ayden Kane and Austin Pearce.
Coffee Corner:
Coffee Corner will be running a special homecoming deal on Friday. All drinks will be $2.00! Also congratulations to Natalie Minnaert for winning the free drink raffle. Stop by and see us from 7:30-7:55 tomorrow.
Past Due Discipline:
Students with past due discipline must have it completed no later than tomorrow, Friday, October 11th by 8:00 a.m. in order to be eligible to attend the Homecoming game tonight and the dance tomorrow. Anything served after 8:00 a.m. tomorrow will not count toward your eligibility.
University of Chicago College Visit:
On Tuesday, October 15th, the University of Chicago will be visiting Geneseo High School during 7th period. If you are interested in meeting with the University of Chicago, please visit the Counseling Office for more details and to sign up. You must sign up before to obtain a pass, and confirm the visit will be taking place.
Augustana, Knox, & St. Ambrose College Visits;
On Monday, October 14th, Augustana College will be visiting Geneseo High School during WIN, Knox College during 6th period and St. Ambrose University during 7th period. If you are interested in meeting with Augustana College, Knox College or St. Ambrose University, please visit the Counseling Office for more details and to sign up. You must sign up before to obtain a pass, and confirm the visit will be taking place.
Homecoming Dress-Up Days:
Join in the fun and dress up for Homecoming Spirit Week.
Tomorrow is Spirit Day – wear Green/White and Geneseo Team and Club apparel.
Students must stay within the school dress code.
Silver Cord Opportunity – Park District:
If you are interested in volunteering at the Park District, there are volunteer opportunities and contact information listed on the announcements bulletin board in the main hall. Silver Cord timesheets can be found on the GHS website or in the Front Office.
