Float Face Off:

Float Face Off will be tonight at Richmond Hill from 4-9 PM in the large shelter next to the playground area. Each class needs as many students as possible to help ensure their float is completely finished by the end of the night. Please come help, regardless of your artistic or creative abilities…there are jobs for everyone! Pizza, chips, fruit, and cookies will be served throughout the night. Come join in on the fun and help your class build the best float!

 

Table Top Games Club:

There will be Table Top Games Club after school today in Mrs. Davidson’s room, room 10.

 

Past Due Discipline:

Students with past due discipline must have it completed no later than Friday, October 11th by 8:00 a.m. in order to be eligible to attend homecoming activities this weekend.  Anything served after 8:00 a.m. on Friday will not count toward your eligibility.

 

JV Scholastic Bowl:

Practice is today at 3:05 p.m. in room 45. On the “practice” doc in Google Classroom, add your “X” to indicate you will be at practice, or a brief reason why you will not be at practice. We will not practice if less than 6 team members can attend.

 

University of Dubuque and University of Iowa College Visit:

The University of Dubuque will be visiting Geneseo High School today during WIN and the University of Iowa during 6th period. Please remember to sign up before the visit in the Counseling Office.

 

Augustana, Knox, & St. Ambrose College Visits;

On Monday, October 14th, Augustana College will be visiting Geneseo High School during WIN, Knox College during 6th period and St. Ambrose University during 7th period.  If you are interested in meeting with Augustana College, Knox College or St. Ambrose University, please visit the Counseling Office for more details and to sign up. You must sign up before to obtain a pass, and confirm the visit will be taking place. 

 

Homecoming Dress-Up Days:

Join in the fun and dress up for Homecoming Spirit Week.

Tomorrow is Hawaiian Day

Friday, October 11 – Spirit Day, Green/White, Team - Club Day

Students must stay within the school dress code.

 

Silver Cord Opportunity – Park District:

If you are interested in volunteering at the Park District, there are volunteer opportunities and contact information listed on the announcements bulletin board in the main hall.  Silver Cord timesheets can be found on the GHS website or in the Front Office.
