3:00 p.m. Dismissal Day:
Today is a normal 3:00 p.m. dismissal day. Remember to check your schedule and go to WIN after 3rd period. Also, lunch is 4th period. On your schedule go to the lunch that is listed next to your 4th period class.
WIN Senior Meeting Today:
Today there will be a Senior Meeting during WIN. Go to your WIN class first for attendance and then your teacher will take you down to the Theatre.
Bivens WIN and McSweeney’s WIN:
Students in Bivens WIN class should report to the Library Lobby for WIN. Students in McSweeney's WIN class should report to her classroom in room 39 for WIN.
Fall Play:
This year’s fall play is a comedy named, “Down to Earth.” There will be an informational meeting on Wednesday, August 21st in the Theatre from 3:15 to 4:15 PM for any students interested in auditioning for the cast, or working backstage.
Lockers:
Reminder to all students that locks should remain on your locker at all times. If you have lost or are having trouble with your lock, stop by the Athletic Office for assistance.
Student Parking:
Students parking in the school lots must be responsible by following the student parking guidelines:
West Lot: Students may not park in the front row, this is staff parking only.
Facility Lot: Students may not park in the 5 spaces facing North/South, these are staff parking only.
Circle Drive, South Lot, and State Street directly in front of the school: These are staff parking only and students may not park in these areas during the school day as posted.
Students may not park in handicap spaces unless they have Administration approval and have a handicap designation on their vehicle.
Silver Cord Volunteer Opportunities:
If you are interested in volunteering at the Park District, there are volunteer opportunities and contact information listed on the announcements bulletin board in the main hall. Silver Cord timesheets can be found on the GHS website or in the Front Office.
