Congratulations Special Olympics Athletes:

This past weekend 5 athletes participated in the Track & Field Special Olympics in Monmouth. 

Claire Yenor placed 1st in softball throw

Rileigh Chambers placed 2nd in softball throw

Chris Collister placed 1st in Softball throw and 100m run

Carter Lain placed 1st in Softball throw and 50m run

Landon Bassett placed 1st in 50m run

 

Congratulations to all athletes and good luck to Chris, Claire, and Carter at the State Summer games in June! 

 

Gray Matters Meeting:

The final Gray Matters Student Meeting of the year will take place this Friday during WIN in the Theatre.  All are welcome.  We hope to see you there.

 

Juniors Open Campus Lunch:

The next Open Campus Lunch opportunity will be Friday, May 10th!

To qualify, you need to have a grade of D+ or higher in all classes and have no unserved discipline. Eligibility will be determined on Wednesday, May 8th. Eligibility notices will be distributed in the morning of Open Campus Lunch day, Friday, May 10th. Students who qualify will have additional time for lunch. If you receive a notice, please be sure to read it for your exact leaving and return times.

 

FFA Plant Sale:

Need a quick and easy Mother's Day gift that all the moms in your life will love? Stop by the FFA Plant Sale to pick up a beautiful, full hanging basket for only $20! Plants will be sold at the Ag Lab on Thursday, May 9th, from 3 pm to 5 pm. If that time doesn’t work for you, see Mrs. Wetzell!

 

Dance Marathon 4:

If you are interested in being a captain for Dance Marathon 4 next year, please fill out an application.  Applications can be found on the purple posters around school using the QR code on the poster.  Applications are due by May 17th!

 

Library:

This is a reminder to all students that the library is only to be used for students that will utilize the library resources during study hall. Students that have 6th or 7th hour release are to leave the building.
