Academic Scholar Night Practice:
Attention NHS, NTHS, AP Scholars, & Illinois State Scholars
Academic Scholar Night practice will take place in the Concert Hall on Thursday, February 29th during 7th period. Do not go to your 7th period class, go immediately to the Concert Hall. All current and new members of NHS, NTHS, AP Scholars, & Illinois State Scholars are expected to be at practice. Students that are speaking or playing music that night will also be practicing 6th period on Thursday.
St. Ambrose Visit:
Today, St. Ambrose University will be visiting Geneseo High School during 7th period. Please remember to sign up before the visit in the Counseling Office.
Augustana College & Iowa State Visit:
On Monday, March 4th, Augustana College will be visiting Geneseo High School during 6th period and Iowa State University during 7th period. If you are interested in meeting with Augustana College or Iowa State University, please visit the Counseling Office for more details and to sign up. You must sign up before to obtain a pass, and confirm the visit will be taking place.
Musical Crew Meeting:
There will be a meeting for all musical crew members on Thursday, February 29th in the DePauw Theatre from 3:15 to 4:15 PM. All crew members should plan to attend.
Army Visit:
On Friday, March 1st, the Quad Cities Army recruiting station will be visiting Geneseo High School during 6th period. If you are interested in meeting with the Army, please visit the Counseling Office for more details and to sign up. You must sign up before to obtain a pass, and confirm the visit will be taking place.
Ping Pong Club:
Ping Pong Club has been cancelled for today.
Clay Target League:
If you are interested in participating in the Spring Clay Target League OR the practice team - there will be an informational meeting on March 4th at 5:30 PM at Bi-State Sportsman Club. All team members and parents must be there.
Debate Club:
Attention Future Debaters: Thank you for filling out the informational form for the brand-new Geneseo High School Debate Club. We will hold our FIRST MEETING today from 3:05-4:00 in Mrs. Hulsbrink's room 1. Bring a friend!
Attention Students:
The class with the most people signed up for Dance Marathon 3 by March 5 will get a "free phone" WIN on March 6. This means that your whole grade will be able to use their phones for the entire duration of WIN. Happy fundraising!
Seniors Open Campus Lunch:
The next Open Campus Lunch opportunity will be Friday, March 1st!
To qualify, you need to have a grade of D+ or higher in all classes and have no unserved discipline. Eligibility will be determined on Tuesday, February 27th. Eligibility notices will be distributed in the morning of Open Campus Lunch day, Friday, March 1st. Students who qualify will have additional time for lunch. If you receive a notice, please be sure to read it for your exact leaving and return times.
Special Olympics Polar Plunge:
Respect is cool.... So come take the plunge for Special Olympics! We are looking for teams of 4 to take the Plunge on March 15th. Minimum $5 per person, prizes awarded to the team with the best costume and most money raised. Contact Sheila Puls or Megan VerStraete in Life Skills for any questions.
