Geneseo High School’s Student Council is teaming up with ImpactLife to host a blood drive on Thursday, February 29 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The blood drive is open to the public and will be held in the main gym at 700 North State Street in Geneseo. Those seeking to participate can schedule an appointment online, while walk-ins are also welcome.
According to ImpactLife (formerly Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center), patients who need blood are in crisis every day. Less than 10% of the population gives blood, so donors that give on a regular basis are important to meet these needs.
