Soccer Slam Registration:
Hey GHS Students! Don't forget to register your team for the 17th annual Seth Ernst Memorial Soccer Slam by February 7th! All details at: https://sethernstsoccerslam.org/registration/ For the Love of the Game, we can't wait to see you in those creative team uniforms!!
Referee Clinic:
The Seth Ernst Memorial Soccer Slam Referee Clinic has been rescheduled to this Saturday, January 20th from 1 to 4 p.m. at the GFAC for all interested referees. Please bring a whistle, and we hope to see you there!
Writer’s Club:
Are you looking for something fun to do after school today? The Writer’s Club will be hosting another meeting after school in Rm 4. We would also like to announce that our February meeting will be on Tuesday, February 13, after school. We hope to see you there!
Foreign Language Club:
Our next meeting is Tuesday, January 23rd at 3:00 p.m. in room 3. We will be watching part of a movie in French. Bring a friend, and hope to see you there!
Musical Meeting:
There will be an informational meeting for this year’s spring musical on Tuesday, January 23 from 3:15 to 4:00 PM in the DePauw Theatre. This year’s show is Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. It is a large cast, and we will need many people backstage and in the orchestra. All students interested in auditioning for the cast, working backstage on one of the many crews, or playing in the orchestra should attend this meeting. This is an all-school musical, so everyone interested is invited to attend this meeting.
NTHS:
Attention all Juniors and Seniors: If you are interested in applying for National Technical Honor Society, you should receive an email with the application attached. Please note NTHS is different from the NHS application you have recently received. If you feel like you meet the NTHS criteria, please complete the application form by Wednesday, January 24th at 3:30 p.m. No late applications will be accepted. If you have any questions or concerns, please email or see Mrs. Litton in Room 20.
Manplettes:
To all upperclassman, time to start thinking about Manplettes! There are three practices to attend January 22, 24, & 25 from 3:30 to 4:45 and a game where we perform what you learn.
