Prom Guest Forms:
Junior and Senior students wanting to bring a guest to Prom, please remember that Guest Verification forms are due today by 3:00 p.m. There will not be exceptions for forms turned in after today.
Cap & Gown Pick Up Reminder:
Attention Seniors: This is a reminder that caps, gowns, & tassels can be picked up today during your lunch period in the Main Lobby. If you only need to purchase a tassel and have not done so yet, the Herff Jones rep will have individual tassels for sale. They are $12 and only exact cash will be accepted.
Tabletop Games Club:
There will be Tabletop Games Club on Wednesday after school in Mrs. Davidson’s room, room 10.
Hat Day:
Attention GHS, we will have another Hat Day this Friday, April 21. Students and staff are encouraged to pay $1 to wear a hat for the day. All proceeds go to help those in need. Money will be collected at the doors as you enter the school and students will be given a sticker to place on your hat. Join the fun and do your part to help others.
Tickets for Seussical:
This year’s musical is Seussical tm. Come to the show and see some of your favorite Dr. Seuss characters, including Horton, The Cat in the Hat, the Who’s and many more. This is a very upbeat, family friendly show. Performances are Thursday, April 20, 2023, with a 6:00 PM curtain, Friday and Saturday, April 21 and 22, 2023, with a 7:00 PM curtain, and Sunday, April 23, 2023, with a 3:00 PM curtain. The cast, crew and orchestra would very much like to see you at the show. Tickets are $15 a piece and available on the district website, or on one of the QR Codes around the building, or at the door. All performances are in the DePauw Theatre at the High School.
May Study Hall Release for Juniors, Seniors, and Sophomores:
Study Hall release will start on Monday, May 1st. Only students who are ineligible will be notified. Students will receive ineligibility notices on Thursday, April 27th and Friday, April 28th. In order to be eligible for Sophomore, Junior, and Senior Study Hall release you must clear the following obligations:
- Grades of D+ or higher in all classes
- No 1st Semester 2022 failed classes
- No unpaid library fines
- No unserved discipline
- Students who have 6th period Study Hall and a 7th period class are not eligible for Study Hall release.
Foreign Language Club:
Attention all Foreign Language Club members: We have rescheduled our ASL lesson for Tuesday, April 18th at 3:00 p.m. in Room 3. Hope to see you there!
