University of Wisconsin-Platteville Visit Today:
The University of Wisconsin-Platteville will be visiting Geneseo High School today during WIN. Please remember to sign up before the visit in the Counseling Office.
US Navy Visit:
On Friday, March 17th, The US Navy will be visiting Geneseo High School during WIN. If you are interested in meeting with The Navy please visit the Counseling Office for more details and to sign up. You must sign up before to obtain a pass, and confirm the visit will be taking place.
Gray Matters Student Leaders Meeting:
The Gray Matters Student Leaders will be having a meeting this Friday at 3:00 in Conference Room B. Please see the shared Google agenda if you cannot make the meeting.
Graduation Announcements Pick Up:
Attention Seniors, if you ordered graduation announcements from Herff Jones pick up will be this Friday, March 17 during your lunch period in the GHS Main Lobby.
Attention all Sophomores who sold Butterbraids:
All butterbraids are to be picked up this THURSDAY in Mrs. Litton’s classroom - Room 20. Pick-up begins starting 6th hour and will go until 3:30. Please make arrangements with rides to get these items picked up so you can get them delivered or to a freezer! See Miss Komel, Mrs. Litton, or Mr. Christensen with any questions.
Attention Trap Team Members:
Trap Team Members need to get their online registration for Clay Target League done ASAP. Instructions can be found on the FFA Google Classroom or see Ms. Lock before or after school or during win, this needs to be done before Friday.
Attention Seniors:
If you are a senior that will be enlisting in the military after high school, please let Mrs. Harrington in the Front Office know by Friday of this week. Seniors that are enlisting in the military will have a red, white, & blue honors cord to wear at graduation.
Attention Seniors:
Are you interested in giving a speech at graduation? All graduating seniors are eligible to submit a speech for consideration. Two speeches will be chosen by a committee and those students will read their speeches at the graduation ceremony. If your speech makes it to the final round, you will be notified by April 7.
Speeches must meet the following criteria:
200-400 words
typed format with your name on it
The speech does not have to be a particular subject matter but needs to be positive and represent the class of 2023.
Speeches are due to Mrs. Harrington in the Front Office by Monday, April 3 at 3:00 p.m.
Key Club:
There will be a Key Club meeting this Thursday at 7:35 a.m. in Ms. Anderson's room. All are welcome!
Yearbook Orders:
If you have not ordered a copy of the 2022-2023 yearbook yet, you have until the end of March to do so. Please check the lists outside of Mrs. Anton and Mrs. Brewer’s rooms to see if you have ordered AND to get the QR Code to do so if needed.
Hat Day on March 17:
On Friday, March 17th there will be another hat day. Pay a dollar and get to wear a hat. Money will go towards those in need in our community.
Tabletop Games Club This Week:
There will be no Tabletop Games Club this Wednesday.
Circle of Friends Cancelled on Friday:
Circle of Friends is cancelled for Friday, March 17th during WIN.
Foreign Language Club Meeting:
Attention all foreign language club members: Our next meeting is this Thursday at 3:00 p.m. in room 3. We will be learning all about Honduras! Hope to see you there!
