St. Ambrose Visit Today:
St. Ambrose University will be visiting Geneseo High School today during WIN. Please remember to sign up before the visit in the Counseling Office.
Environmental Club Meeting:
Environmental Club will be meeting BEFORE school at 7:30 a.m. on March 14th in Room 39.
Polar Plunge Update:
Due to the forecasted weather, the Polar Plunge will be moved to Monday March 13th during WIN period. This gives you all an extra 2 days to donate to which staff or administrator you wish to see be iced. Thank you for your support to Special Olympics!
Congratulations Scholastic Bowl:
The Geneseo Varsity Scholastic Bowl team ended its season in a close match with Dunlap to earn the runner-up position in the Regional Championship game. Our semi-final round win against Metamora was particularly satisfying. A few weeks prior to that we won 2nd place at the Masonic Sectional tournament, earning $300 in prize money. We were also the winners of the first inaugural Nerd Bowl at LP in January. Thank you to all the players at both JV and Varsity levels for making it a memorable season!
Tabletop Games Club:
There will be Tabletop Games Club on Wednesday after school in Mrs. Davidson’s room, room 10.
Blood Drive:
Would you like to save a life, or better yet, save three? Did you know that each blood donation saves three lives? The Blood Drive will be held on Tuesday, March 14, in the big gym. Sign up now with any Student Council member. Donors are asked to use the QR code and schedule their preferred time to donate. 16 year old donors are required to have a signed parent consent slip from the Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center. Student Survey:
Students, a survey was emailed to you to gain feedback from our recent job fair and career expo. Please take five minutes sometime this week to give us feedback on your experience. Thank you.
Aviation Club:
On Sunday, March 12 at 1:00 p.m. the Aviation Club will be traveling to Walnut, IL to tour a crop dusting facility and learn about careers in the crop dusting industry. Any interested student should stop by this week and get a permission slip from Mr. Bess.

Art Show:
On Thursday, March 9 Geneseo High School will be hosting the annual Henry & Stark County Art Show. Each year, the juried art show rotates between high schools in the two counties and this year it will take place in the gymnasium of Geneseo High School. The show will be open to the public from 6-7 p.m. with a judges' critique around 6:15 p.m. where they will go through the first place winners of each category as well as the Best of Show.
Writer’s Club:
The Writer’s Club will be having our monthly meeting this week. If you enjoy writing outside of class time for any reason and you would like a place to share that work, please meet with us after school on Wednesday March 8 in Room 4 from 3:10- 4:00 pm. We hope to see you there!
